Product Manager

Scalo is involved in projects related to Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for Clinical Diagnostics, a key system used on a European and global scale.

• Extensive experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner in IT environment
• Strong understanding of IT product lifecycle (end-to-end)
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (business, IT, vendors)
• Knowledge and application of Agile/Scrum methodologies or hybrid delivery models
• Ability to prioritize tasks based on business value, risk, and effort
• Experience with tools such as Jira; knowledge of ServiceNow or Azure DevOps is a plus
• English language proficiency enabling fluent communication (preferably C1)
• Awareness of security, compliance, and regulations in enterprise environments
• Strong communication skills with stakeholders and expectation management
• Self-reliant, well-organized, and proactive
• Comfortable working in complex organizational structures

Nice to have:

• Experience in Healthcare, Clinical Diagnostics, or LIMS systems
• Experience working in regulated environments

• Participation in a project managing the end-to-end lifecycle of an IT product in the LIMS area for Clinical Diagnostics
• Acting as a single point of contact for the product, connecting business, IT, compliance, and operations needs
• Defining and developing product vision, strategy, and roadmap focusing on business value and solution adoption
• Gathering, analyzing, and prioritizing business requirements and user feedback, managing backlog (epics, features, requirements)
• Close collaboration with IT teams (Architects, Developers), operations, deployment, and quality and compliance areas
• Supporting delivery processes (sprint planning, review, demo, solution validation) and managing product lifecycle (build → run → continuous improvement)
• Participating in budgeting, forecasting, and cooperation with external suppliers
• Regular communication of work status, risks, and progress to key stakeholders
