FullStack Engineer (Python, JavaScript, React)

The role is within a FinTech company based in Kraków, operating with a hybrid work model. The position involves working in a global team to develop and maintain software solutions for the banking sector, with a focus on security and efficiency.

• Extensive Python web development experience using frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Experience developing data pipelines in Python using Pandas, NumPy, Airflow, Luigi, etc.
• Strong understanding of microservice architectures and implementation of CQRS, SAGA, and event sourcing.
• Experience building and deploying services to containers using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, etc.
• Strong sysadmin skills in Linux and understanding of computer systems and networks (TCP/IP, DNS, Firewalls, Subnetting).
• Proficient with Git and familiarity with branching strategies like GitFlow and Trunk based.
• Experience in frontend development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Strong SQL programming skills with ability to construct complex queries.
• Test-driven mindset with experience in automated testing (unit, integration, functional, non-functional).
• Knowledge of agile and DevSecOps delivery processes in regulated environments; experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work and lead in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
• Willingness to continuously learn and share knowledge.

Nice to have:

• Cybersecurity experience including automated application security testing tools (SAST, DAST), penetration testing, fuzz testing, threat detection.
• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Ali) and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
• Experience with operational monitoring tools such as Prometheus and service mesh tools like Anthos.
• Strong frontend development experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React; experience with customer analytics products and UX design.
• Database administration/architecture experience with relational (MSSQL, Postgres) and non-relational (Mongo) databases, including performance tuning.
• Experience with message queue systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ.

• Work with Product Owner and Development Lead to design, develop, and deliver software solutions meeting stakeholder requirements.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity experts to understand and refine requirements and propose new technologies to enhance security.
• Adhere to team design and development patterns, identify bottlenecks, and improve software development efficiencies.
• Follow governance procedures for requirements intake, release, and incident management, contributing to process automation.
• Ensure operability of existing services including L2/L3 troubleshooting, bug fixing, writing automated tests, and technical documentation.
• Undertake peer reviews and lead by example for junior developers.
