Senior Unity Tech Lead

VIVIVO GAMES is a Polish technology hub with locations in Katowice, Kraków, Warszawa, and Kielce, focusing on real-time multiplayer game development using Unity and Photon Quantum technologies.

• Minimum 5 years of experience with Unity (preferably Unity 6 LTS).
• At least 2 years of experience with Photon Quantum (version 3 or 2) or equivalent deterministic netcode (e.g., Mirror plus lockstep, FishNet rollback).
• Experience in production multiplayer real-time gameserver development with self-shipped code.
• Knowledge of WebGL constraints.
• Senior-level proficiency in C#.
• Experience as a tech lead.

Nice to have:

• Experience with skill-based, racing, or arcade titles.
• Knowledge of fixed-point math outside of games.
• Familiarity with Unity DOTS/ECS.
• Experience with Cloud Run.
• Active participation in the Photon community.

• Full ownership of the game layer including deterministic kernel, multiplayer netcode (input prediction, server reconciliation, lag compensation), WebGL build, deterministic AI bot profiles, replay recorder with hash chain, and integration with lobby R3F.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor the Unity development team.
• Develop a plan B for netcode.
