PHP Developer

Alsendo is a leading technology platform for managing shipments and deliveries. It provides companies, from small businesses to large enterprises and e-commerce, with tools and support necessary for success. The solutions are based on modern technology and sustainable development, designed for convenience and efficiency. The Alsendo group includes Apaczka, Innoship, Ecolet, Zaslat, Spedire.

The technology team consists of about 50 people including Developers, Testers, QA Engineers, DevOps, Architects, Product Owners, and Project Managers. They work in smaller teams of 3-4 people. The recruitment process can be online or offline, starting with an HR interview followed by a technical interview with a developer.

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a PHP Developer
• Very good knowledge of PHP 7/8+ and practical experience in web service development
• Good knowledge of MySQL and basic knowledge of Symfony and Doctrine
• Experience in designing, implementing, and developing web applications
• Ability to create and develop REST APIs
• Practical experience in writing unit tests
• Knowledge and ability to work in Docker/Kubernetes environments
• Good knowledge of Git and design patterns
• Communicative knowledge of English (minimum B2 level)
• Independence, proactivity, and openness to new technologies

Nice to have:

• Experience in optimizing database queries
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
• Experience with non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis)
• Knowledge of queuing systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka)

• Development and maintenance of existing applications and services, ensuring their performance and quality
• Collaboration with business teams to create solutions supporting customer acquisition
• Designing and developing tests (unit and integration) to ensure system stability
• Creating and updating technical documentation that effectively supports the team's work
• Active development of personal competencies both technologically and product-wise
