Lead Software Engineer (Unity)

Lucky Duck Games, now part of the Goliath Group, is forming the Goliath Digital Team to develop board game companion apps and digital games. The team is expected to grow to over 50 members, impacting the future of Lucky Duck Games and the Goliath Group.

• Minimum of 5 years of mobile game programming experience in Unity, specifically in the game industry.
• Proven track record of managing and leading programming teams.
• Strong understanding of game development processes and pipelines.
• Fluency in English (B2-C1).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Passion for gaming and a deep commitment to creating high-quality, engaging digital games.

• Lead a team of programmers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
• Contribute to the programming and development of digital games using Unity.
• Collaborate with designers and other stakeholders to bring game concepts to life.
• Ensure the technical excellence and high quality of all game projects.
• Develop and implement best practices, processes, and tools for the programming team.
• Foster a culture of innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement within the team.
• Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes to drive the growth and success of the team and the company.
