Senior Java & Keycloack Engineer

Be in IT is a recruitment company specializing in searching for IT technology specialists. Currently, for their client, they are looking for a Senior Google Workspace Engineer.

• Documented practical experience with Keycloak in both backend and frontend layers.
• Knowledge of Java 17+, Maven, and GIT.
• Experience with Jakarta EE / Quarkus.
• Knowledge of HTTP, REST, and OpenID Connect protocols.
• Ability to write and customize HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript / ES6+.
• Knowledge of FreeMarker (.ftl templates) in the context of Keycloak Themes.
• Knowledge of SQL (DML & DDL).
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
• Experience with Kibana / OpenSearch for logging and monitoring.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Spring Boot 3.x, Terraform, PostgreSQL, Sonar, Prometheus / Grafana, Dependency Track.
• English language proficiency at B2 or C1 level for communication in an international environment.
• Knowledge of German language.
• Availability ASAP; acceptable maximum one-month notice period effective at the end of the month.
• Experience with Git, HTTP/HTTPS, OpenCV, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, FreeMarker, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Kibana, OpenStack.

• Long-term cooperation with a German company in the telecommunications/IT industry developing web hosting, cloud, and internet services; opening a European Technology Center in Poland.
• Technical implementation and development of solutions based on Keycloak: client integrations, security and authentication concepts, and fulfilling business requirements.
• Customizing and developing Keycloak frontend interfaces: login pages, themes and theme.properties files, multilingual support (Message Bundles / i18n), responsiveness (Mobile/Tablet/Desktop), and accessibility (WCAG).
• Implementing and maintaining FreeMarker (.ftl) templates with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in the context of Keycloak Themes.
• Analyzing requirements, technical prioritization, and promoting standards and best practices for Keycloak.
• Implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines: Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
• Monitoring and observability using Kibana / OpenSearch, Grafana, Prometheus.
• Optionally: on-call duties (about 1 week per month).
