Cloud Governance Manager

The role involves joining a client team within a leading financial institution to manage cloud governance frameworks and ensure compliance with regulatory standards across multiple markets.

• Proven experience in technology risk management within financial services or regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of Cloud governance frameworks, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements in the UK and global markets.
• Track record of leading governance forums and ensuring effective decision-making and follow-up.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement and regulatory interactions.
• Commitment to maintaining operational resilience, ethical standards, and proactive risk mitigation.

• Lead and manage the Cloud Governance Forum, capturing and ensuring execution of all actions.
• Track and escalate risks and issues related to Cloud Services through the appropriate governance channels.
• Serve as the main point of contact for Cloud governance across assigned markets, including participation in regulatory consultations.
• Represent Cloud Services at country-level IT governance meetings.
• Oversee and ensure compliance with the Cloud Management Model, delivering governance reports as required.
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and provide clear, timely communication on governance and risk matters.
