Senior Software Engineer (PHP)

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development, ideally with PHP/Symfony
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Familiarity with relational databases such as MariaDB and PostgreSQL
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive technical solutions in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind scalable applications
• Fluency in English

• Drive the implementation of technical initiatives to improve the quality of the product
• Partner with Product to impact the roadmap and ensure engineering decisions align with user needs
• Collaborate closely within a cross-functional team as well as other engineering teams to understand business requirements and ensure the timely delivery of features
• Work closely with architects to identify and address technical challenges, ensuring the scalability, reliability, and usability of Marketplace products
• Take ownership of engineering decisions for larger topics and features
• Be a part of a push to improve the product delivery process
