Data Analyst (AWS)

We are seeking a Data Analyst with AWS experience to support Data & Analytics teams in delivering high-quality data solutions. The role blends business and technical aspects, focusing on data analysis, data quality, and translating business requirements into actionable data insights. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders and data engineering teams in a modern cloud-based environment, also contributing to lightweight technical tasks.

• Experience in data analysis and working with large datasets
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience with modern cloud data platforms, preferably AWS
• Understanding of data modelling and data warehousing concepts
• Ability to translate business needs into data requirements and solutions
• Experience working in Agile environments

• Analyse and validate datasets to ensure high data quality and accuracy
• Translate business requirements into clear data definitions and technical needs
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand how data is used across the organisation
• Investigate and resolve data quality issues, including root cause analysis
• Support data engineering teams by providing analytical input and clarification
• Contribute to the design of data solutions from an analytical perspective
• Document data models, mappings, and business definitions
• Support testing and validation of data deliveries and transformations
• Write and optimise SQL queries for data analysis and reporting
• Assist with minor adjustments in data pipelines when required
