Software Engineer Android

Wakacje.pl is an e-commerce platform and a network of travel agencies offering a wide range of travel products. Since 2015, it has been part of Wirtualna Polska Holding, Poland’s largest group of media and e-commerce companies. Together with Travelplanet.pl and the Invia brands across CEE, they are building a unified travel group driven by a shared #TravelMindset. The MobileApp team is responsible for the Wakacje.pl mobile application (iOS & Android), including search offers, offers listing and details, client panel, AI chatbot, and favourite offers and searches. The team continuously develops and maintains these core product areas, contributing to the overall user experience of Poland's largest travel e-commerce platform.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Android mobile development using Kotlin
• Proficiency with Jetpack Compose
• Practical experience with Kotlin Coroutines
• Solid understanding of mobile design patterns and architecture (e.g., MVVM, Clean Architecture)
• Practical experience working with REST APIs (Retrofit)
• Practical experience with Git and developer platforms (GitLab, GitHub)
• Ability to work independently and within a team, willingness to share knowledge
• English language proficiency: minimum B2 (technical)

Nice to have:

• Experience in e-Commerce projects
• Experience with SAFe methodology
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools
• Experience with debugging, profiling, and performance optimization tools

• Develop and maintain the Android mobile application using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
• Write efficient, scalable, and reliable code following Clean Architecture principles
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (iOS, QA, Backend) to deliver high-quality product increments
• Contribute to and maintain the CI/CD architecture, ensuring stability of new app releases
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Actively participate in technology evaluation and architectural decisions
