AI-First .NET Engineer

AI-First Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor or equivalent
• Understanding of agents and sub-agents: composition and usage
• Ability to create/use reusable AI skill definitions
• AI planning workflows: task breakdowns, step-by-step plans as files/tickets
• Prompt engineering: produce reliable output; evaluate/override AI suggestions
• Project-level AI instructions: copilot-instructions.md, CLAUDE.md or similar

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of AI in SDLC phases (requirements, design, implementation, review, testing, docs)
• Orchestrating multiple AI agents for parallel tasks
• Agentic loop patterns: tool use, reflection, iterative self-correction

Technical Requirements:

• 3+ years .NET / C# experience: REST APIs, middleware, DI, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT
• SQL databases, ORMs; NoSQL is a plus
• Experience with Python, Java, or Node.js (plus)
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Frontend experience with React (preferred) and/or Angular
• Knowledge of state management, async patterns, frontend testing basics
• Experience working on monoliths and service-oriented codebases
• Awareness of DDD, CQRS (hands-on is a plus)
• Experience with message-driven / event-driven patterns
• Docker fundamentals; Kubernetes basics is a plus
• CI/CD experience: GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or similar
• Cloud experience: Azure, AWS or GCP
• Observability knowledge: structured logging, tracing concepts

Additional Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of .NET, C#, REST, OAuth 2.0, JavaScript, TypeScript, AI
• English language proficiency; basic French

• Develop and maintain full-stack features with attention to quality, performance, and reliability
• Apply AI tools actively throughout workflow: generation, refactoring, review, testing, and research
• Participate in architectural and design discussions; contribute ideas and learn from senior engineers
• Write clean, reviewable code and actively engage in code reviews
• Communicate clearly with team and client stakeholders in English
• Flag risks, blockers, and technical concerns early
• Continuously refine AI workflow and share learnings with the team
