Staff Backend Software Engineer - Portfolio Data Workflow

• Extensive experience in software development, including building backend services
• Deep knowledge of software design patterns, API design, and software development lifecycle
• Proven ability to influence technical direction and contribute to architecture of complex distributed systems
• Understanding of REST, service-based architecture, and distributed systems
• Rapid learner with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience mentoring engineers and collaborating within senior teams
• Experience building services with Java, SQL, and AWS
• Experience with Elasticsearch is a nice-to-have
• Demonstrable knowledge of using AI in a professional engineering environment
• Interest or experience in financial industry or wealth management
• Legal authorization to work in Poland on first day of employment; no visa sponsorship available

• Design, develop, and implement robust API services to support the European customer base
• Lead architecture designs and product roadmap creation
• Research and drive adoption of new technologies and best practices
• Analyze and understand complex ecosystem requirements and drive change
• Mentor, coach, and empower other engineers
• Contribute to code reviews and technical designs
• Debug and troubleshoot issues across the entire application stack
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders
• Be part of a high-performing, cross-functional team
