Project Management Senior Associate – Technology | Financial Crime Unit

PwC Poland’s FCU Technology team consists of about 100 IT specialists delivering technology solutions, data analytics, and consulting services to global clients in the financial services industry, focusing on Anti Financial Crime areas such as Anti Money Laundering, Combating Terrorism Financing, Fraud Risk Management, FATCA, and financial sanctions implementation.

• Typically 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in technology delivery, consulting, PMO, system implementation, business analysis, or related fields
• Experience with technology solutions for financial services or regulated industries is an advantage
• Understanding of agile and waterfall methodologies and project management fundamentals (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, hybrid approaches)
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and structured thinking
• Practical knowledge of methods and tools supporting business analysis, documentation, and process mapping
• Ability to prepare clear presentations, reports, and project documentation
• Interest in Financial Crime / AML / CTF technology and willingness to develop deep domain expertise
• Proactive, ownership-driven, and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to engage diverse stakeholders
• Ability to work in international, cross-functional teams and navigate complex project environments
• Willingness to grow toward advanced responsibilities in solutioning, sales support, and client engagement
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• Additional languages are a plus
• Demonstrated knowledge of new technologies and AI-powered tools in daily work (e.g., task automation, information analysis, content creation)

• Supporting end-to-end project management and delivery of technology initiatives from planning through implementation, testing, and stabilization
• Planning, tracking, and reporting project progress; supporting issue resolution and escalation; maintaining timelines; supporting reporting to senior stakeholders and clients
• Coordinating with business analysts, architects, developers, QA engineers, and product teams to ensure smooth execution and quality of deliverables
• Contributing to solution design, requirement gathering, and business/technical analysis for client and internal projects
