Senior Data Platform Engineer (AWS, Databricks, Python)

Relout works for international projects and clients from various industries, helping startups, software houses, and enterprises to transform and scale their businesses. The role is for a strategic client, one of the largest manufacturing companies from Sweden, focusing on building and evolving a cloud-native data platform.

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, Glue, Lambda, IAM, EKS, Redshift), with the last 5 years as AWS Cloud Infrastructure
• Experience of working with multi account cloud infrastructure
• Proficiency in Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CICD
• Experience with deploying Databricks in AWS
• Understanding of data lakehouse and medallion architecture
• Experience with Airflow deployment on AKS
• Familiarity with Kubernetes setup and operations
• Knowledge of data mesh concepts and implementation
• Programming skills in Python
• Experience working in agile/Scrum delivery teams
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Build and maintain a self-serve data platform using AWS services, Terraform, and Kubernetes
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
• Implement and manage data mesh principles to support domain-oriented data ownership
• Design and support medallion architecture (bronze, silver, gold layers) using Databricks
• Develop and orchestrate data pipelines using Apache Airflow
• Ensure platform scalability, observability, and cost optimization
• Implement data governance practices including cataloging, lineage, and access control
• Collaborate in a Scrum team to deliver platform features in an agile, iterative manner
• Support platform users and promote best practices across teams
