Principal Architect

Exerizon is a consulting firm specializing in IT architecture for enterprise clients. They work with clients at the architecture and implementation levels, from recommendations approved by management to production code. They also build their own products, operating with a small team and enterprise clients without corporate bureaucracy.

• Built at least one system from scratch that operated under real load, managing people, code, and infrastructure.
• Practical experience with architecture patterns: DDD, bounded contexts, hexagonal architecture, CQRS, event sourcing.
• Experience with long migrations (strangler fig, anti-corruption layer) ensuring business continuity.
• Start integrations from contract and domain; document decisions considering costs, risks, and operational consequences.
• Formulate architectural options, select and justify decisions understanding their consequences.
• Proficient in at least one cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) covering networking, IAM, cost, and security.
• Experience with IaC (Terraform/Terragrunt), GitOps, CI/CD including supply chain security.
• Treat observability as a product element using OpenTelemetry, structured logging, and actionable alerting.
• Experience building AI model-based systems, validating output, controlling regression, and managing inference costs.
• Communicate effectively with CTOs and senior developers, tailoring depth without technical showmanship.
• Make decisions based on business context.
• Self-driven, responsible for outcomes, not just documentation.

Nice to have:

• Led architectural reviews or assessments for external clients.
• Learned from failures as an architect or tech lead and can discuss openly.
• Experience writing both poor and good code and can distinguish between them.

Product:

• Build AI-native SDLC including agent orchestration, runtime, and client system integrations.
• Influence architecture, code, and initial enterprise deployments.

Client:

• Lead architectural workshops and discovery sessions for banking and insurance clients.
• Prepare recommendations, migration scenarios, and decision documentation (ADR, C4, NFR).
• Work directly with CTOs and engineering teams on the client side.

Pre-sales:

• Co-create technical proposals and assess project feasibility.
• Decide consciously on project engagements.

Organization:

• Co-create work standards including architectural playbooks, frameworks, and automations.
• Mentor team members.
