Open Source Solution Architect

Infolet has been supporting IT leaders for 20 years by providing technologies, experts, and full operational support, including legalization of stay and work for international IT specialists. They work on projects involving specialists in Java, JavaScript, C embedded, C++, PHP, mobile specialists, software testers, network and system administrators, and others.

Must have:

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect / Technical Architect in open-source environments
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Linux and open-source application stacks
• Experience designing distributed systems, microservices, and APIs
• Experience with scripting, automation, and configuration management tools
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Ability to lead technical discussions and influence stakeholders across teams
• Fluent English and Polish

Nice to have:

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or container orchestration platforms
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and security tooling
• Experience with NoSQL, RDBMS, or streaming platforms
• Contributions to open-source projects (GitHub/GitLab)
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5 years of experience in a similar position

• Design end-to-end solutions using technologies such as Linux, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Apache, and related open-source frameworks
• Lead architecture decisions for new platforms and modernization projects
• Evaluate and integrate open-source tools, frameworks, and infrastructure components
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure secure and scalable delivery
• Prepare architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical roadmaps
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams
• Support architectural governance, security, and compliance standards
• Stay up to date with emerging open-source technologies and industry trends
