SAS Developer

• Programming skills in SAS (Base SAS, SAS Macros, SAS SQL, Enterprise Guide, DI Studio, Stored Processes, SCL, E-Miner).
• Documented skills in data reconciliation and validation across multiple systems.
• Solid understanding of ETL processes, data warehouses, and data quality principles.
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM) and defect tracking.
• Good command of Linux command line (scripting skills are a plus).
• Nice to have:
  • Knowledge of Altair products (Workbench, Hub & SLC).
  • Practical experience with BigData technologies (Hadoop, Hive).
  • Knowledge of banking or financial services domain and data validation test automation frameworks.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid model (1 day per month in Kraków or Warsaw office).
  • English language proficiency at B2 or C1 level for communication in an international environment.
  • Availability ASAP or with a maximum one-month notice period ending at month-end.

• Long-term international consulting project in banking (including IFRS, migrations).
• Comparing performance and results of SAS programs (Altair environment vs current SAS).
• Designing and executing test plans and test cases (SAS applications, data processing).
• Translating business requirements into test scenarios (collaboration with developers).
• Conducting functional, regression, and system tests (SAS, ETL).
• Validating and reconciling data (source vs target systems) to ensure integrity.
• Verifying processing logic on BigData platforms (Hadoop, Hive).
• Reporting to stakeholders and documenting tests and defects.
• Scheduling tasks (job scheduling) in Control-M system.

Preferred readiness to work in a hybrid model with 1 day per month in Kraków or Warsaw office. Availability ASAP or with a maximum one-month notice period ending at month-end.
