Senior Guidewire Engineer

• Minimum 5+ years of commercial experience as a Guidewire Developer or Java Developer.
• Minimum 4+ years of practical experience with Guidewire, especially PolicyCenter or BillingCenter, and very good knowledge of Gosu and SQL.
• Solid foundations in software engineering, including OOP, functional programming, concurrency, and Design Patterns.
• Experience with modern CI/CD, automated tests, and build pipelines, including Git, Maven, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience in cloud-native and containerized environments, including Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Linux.
• Experience working with event-driven microservices, Kafka, REST API, and distributed systems.
• Skills in designing and scaling high-performance applications with an emphasis on optimization.
• Knowledge of AI-supported development tools, e.g., GitHub Copilot.
• English language proficiency at B2 or C1 level for communication in an international environment.
• Availability ASAP is preferred; a maximum one-month notice period ending at the end of the month is acceptable.

• Long-term cooperation with an international consulting company serving large and medium enterprises.
• Work in the Development team: development and maintenance of products.
• Designing, installing, testing, and maintaining software systems.
• Creating and developing solutions in the area of Guidewire and/or Java.
• Working with Guidewire PolicyCenter or BillingCenter; programming in Gosu and SQL.
• Applying CI/CD practices, automated tests, and build pipelines.
• Working with cloud-native architecture and containers: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Linux.
• Participation in event-driven and microservices projects, using Kafka, REST API, and distributed systems.
• Designing and scaling high-performance applications with a focus on optimization.
• Using AI-based software development tools.
