Senior Data Engineer

Be in IT is a recruitment company specializing in IT specialist recruitment. The recruiter has been active in the IT recruitment industry since 2016 and has been running their own recruitment company since 2021. They focus on comprehensive support for clients' IT technology needs and hold a certificate from the National Employment Agency Register (number 27663).

• Higher technical education (IT, telecommunications, mathematics, physics).
• 4–5 years of experience in data engineering, including designing and implementing platforms from scratch.
• Experience with relational and time-series databases: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB.
• Knowledge of infrastructure and CI/CD: Kubernetes, Terraform, Azure DevOps.
• Experience with ETL tools: on-premise (Node-RED, Apache NiFi) and cloud-based (Databricks).
• Experience in designing efficient data models, analysis, and creating business analytical structures.
• Knowledge of IoT: Azure IoT Hub (ingestion, telemetry, device management, scalability).
• English language proficiency at B2/C1 level for communication in an international team.

Nice to have:

• Availability ASAP (maximum 1-month notice period effective at the end of the month).
• Industrial protocols (MQTT, OPC-UA) and analytical/visualization tools (R, Python, Grafana).
• Experience with smart factory (industrial digital platforms) and working in Scrum.
• Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB, Kubernetes, Terraform, Azure DevOps, Node.js, Apache, Databricks, Data modeling, Azure.

• Collaborate on the development of a digital product platform for industrial IoT (quality, automation of material and data flow).
• Design, implement, and maintain data solutions on the platform.
• Define and optimize data models for analysis, operations, and forecasting.
• Participate in decisions regarding data architecture and infrastructure.
• Ensure quality, reliability, and maintainability through CI/CD and automation.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, developers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Proactively clarify requirements using a design-thinking approach.
