SAP Application Manager – Logistics Execution

This role is for a SAP Logistics Execution Support & Integration Specialist working in a global team within a modern S/4HANA RISE environment. The position supports mission-critical logistics processes across a global supply chain and involves collaboration with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams worldwide.

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or similar (or equivalent experience)
• 3–6 years of experience in a similar SAP support role
• Hands-on experience with SAP Logistics Execution or SAP Supply Chain in S/4HANA
• Strong knowledge of integration technologies: IDoc, PI/PO, SAP Integration Suite, APIs, OData
• Experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
• Understanding of IT service management (incident, change, problem)
• Ability to translate business processes into technical solutions
• Experience working in international or multi-site environments
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Nice to have:

• Experience with warehouse or transportation systems (SAP or non-SAP)
• Knowledge of integration security (certificates, authentication, APIs)
• Experience working with external vendors or offshore teams
• Familiarity with Agile ways of working
• Experience with SAP Cloud ALM (or willingness to learn)

Operations & Support (70%):

• Ensure stable day-to-day operation of SAP Logistics Execution processes across global sites
• Monitor and support integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems (IDoc, PI/PO, Integration Suite)
• Troubleshoot and resolve interface and message errors
• Provide 2nd-level support for selected non-SAP logistics applications
• Handle incidents, service requests, and problem management activities
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive improvements
• Maintain clear documentation, runbooks, and monitoring guidelines for global teams

Continuous Improvement & Requirements (30%):

• Work with business stakeholders to understand and refine logistics requirements
• Translate business needs into clear technical specifications
• Support enhancements, small changes, and global initiatives
• Ensure smooth delivery of changes (testing, monitoring, documentation, alerts)
• Contribute to backlog refinement and Agile delivery processes
