Snowflake Data Engineer

• Minimum 3 (regular) to 5 (senior) years of practical experience in data engineering in production environments.
• Practical experience in Snowflake development, data modeling, and building ETL pipelines, preferably in Finance & Controlling.
• Advanced knowledge of Snowflake SQL and solid understanding of Snowflake architecture including Virtual Warehouses, Cloud Services, and Storage.
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and data models following established patterns (e.g., star schema).
• Experience with Flask / FastAPI.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD.
• Knowledge of data quality assurance practices and testing.
• English language proficiency at B2 or C1 level for communication in an international environment.

• Collaborate with an international consulting company serving automotive, finance, banking, and manufacturing sectors.
• Design, build, and optimize data models and ETL/pipelines in Snowflake.
• Create and maintain large-scale data models for historical financial KPIs.
• Classify and harmonize historical data from SAP according to provided mappings.
• Design and maintain APIs for data sharing.
• Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and engineers to define data requirements and access schemas.
• Implement data quality rules, monitoring, alerts, and remediation processes.
• Maintain lineage, metadata, and documentation, ensuring production readiness including automated tests, CI/CD, and observability.
