Functional Tester

ITFS Sp. z o.o. is a company operating in the financial/banking or related industry, offering a position involving work in an international environment with a hybrid work model based in Warsaw.

• Minimum 5-6 years of experience in software testing
• Advanced knowledge and experience in backend testing of REST API and SOAP
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and Excel
• Familiarity with integration tests, UAT, E2E, and functional tests
• Experience working in Scrum
• Experience in the financial/banking industry or related fields
• Analytical and communication skills
• English language proficiency at B2/C1 level (mandatory for work in an international environment)

Nice to have:

• Experience in automated testing
• Basic knowledge of programming languages: Java, JavaScript, or Python
• ISTQB certification

• Designing and executing test cases (functional, E2E, and UAT) based on business requirements, specifications, and use cases
• Close collaboration with business analysts and Product Owner to understand requirements, clarify assumptions, and translate them into clear test scenarios
• Supporting the team in maintaining high quality of delivered solutions by reviewing test scripts, conducting dry-runs, and ensuring compliance with SDLC and STLC practices
• Effectively identifying, documenting, and managing defects, troubleshooting, and improving product stability
• Conducting backend-focused tests (REST API, SOAP, SQL, and databases) with additional support in frontend testing when needed
• Assisting in performing and updating automated tests
• Collaborating within international teams to ensure shared understanding of goals and efficient implementation of solutions across markets
