Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Storage)

• 8+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure with a strong focus on storage and backup technologies
• Hands-on expertise with Commvault, including backup, restore, troubleshooting, and policy configuration
• Solid experience supporting VMware environments and VM-level backup and recovery
• Working knowledge of Nutanix platforms, data protection concepts, and backup integrations
• Strong operational mindset, reliability in day-to-day support, and an analytical approach to problem solving
• Understanding of disaster recovery and business continuity principles and experience working within ITIL-based frameworks
• Clear and professional communication skills, collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams
• Fluent in English and open to developing automation or scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, workflows)

• Operate, maintain, and optimize enterprise backup solutions, primarily Commvault, ensuring reliable backup, restore, and retention
• Design and support backup and recovery strategies for VMware and Nutanix platforms aligned with business continuity and disaster recovery requirements
• Administer and troubleshoot storage and data protection components across virtual and physical environments
• Support Nutanix data protection, including snapshots and integration with backup platforms
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of backup failures, restore issues, performance bottlenecks, and data integrity concerns
• Participate in incident, problem, and change management in line with ITIL practices
• Collaborate with virtualization, server, network, and security teams to ensure consistent workload protection
• Execute platform upgrades, configuration changes, lifecycle activities, and contribute to documentation and continuous improvement initiatives
