Embedded tester (Defence & Security)

SpyroSoft Solutions S.A. is recruiting for embedded systems testing roles in defence and security projects.

• Experience in testing embedded systems or embedded software.
• Good understanding of embedded systems architecture and software development processes.
• Experience with testing low-level software, firmware or real-time systems.
• Ability to analyze requirements and derive test scenarios and test cases.
• Experience working with hardware during testing (e.g. boards, controllers, interfaces).
• Basic knowledge of programming or scripting languages used in embedded environments (e.g. C, C++, Python).
• Understanding of communication interfaces and protocols commonly used in embedded systems.
• Experience in defect tracking and test management tools.
• Ability to work with technical documentation and specifications.
• Languages: Polish – Fluent / Native; English – C1.
• Willingness to undergo the mandatory personal security clearance verification procedure or holding a valid personal security clearance up to NATO Secret / Tajne level.
• Willingness to undergo mandatory checks required to be admitted to work with defence-related technologies.

Nice to have:

• Experience in working with public administration, defence and/or security industry.
• Knowledge of NATO standards, including STANAG.
• Experience in testing systems developed according to strict quality or safety requirements.
• Familiarity with regulated environments or formal verification processes.

• Design and execute test cases for embedded systems and software used in defence and security projects.
• Perform functional, integration and system-level testing of embedded software.
• Validate embedded software behavior against requirements and specifications.
• Prepare and maintain test documentation, test cases and test reports.
• Analyze test results and report defects, including root cause analysis in cooperation with development teams.
• Work closely with embedded developers to reproduce, debug and verify fixes.
• Support verification and validation activities throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Participate in testing activities in regulated and security-restricted environments.
