Infrastructure Engineer

ITFS is a consulting company from the Trójmiasto area, also having a branch in Warsaw. It primarily focuses on IT specialist recruitment and creating project-based Software Houses for clients from Poland and Western Europe.

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience
• Frequent business travel worldwide (over 60% of working time)
• Practical experience with container technologies and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, GKE, OpenShift, Anthos)
• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Knowledge and practical experience with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
• Experience with Kubernetes in production environments
• Knowledge and practical experience in infrastructure automation (e.g., Ansible, automation scripts)
• Good knowledge of Linux systems and basic automation in this environment
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, GitLab, pipelines)
• Understanding of DevOps concepts and working in a DevOps model
• Basic knowledge of computer networks, storage (file, block, object), and infrastructure monitoring and logging systems
• Ability to diagnose and solve technical problems (troubleshooting)
• Knowledge of at least one public cloud (preferably GCP)
• Willingness to travel for business
• English and Polish language skills at least at B2 level
• Required knowledge: GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, Git

• Implementing and installing Google Distributed Cloud (air-gapped) solutions at clients
• Working with isolated (air-gapped) environments according to security and solution architecture requirements
• Configuring and maintaining infrastructure based on Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Implementing and automating infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)
• Administering and maintaining Linux environments and supporting automation of system tasks
• Supporting CI/CD processes and integrating tools (Git, GitLab, Jenkins, pipelines)
• Monitoring, diagnosing, and troubleshooting production environments
• Collaborating with technical teams and clients regarding infrastructure deployment and maintenance
• Ensuring environment compliance with DevOps requirements and security standards
• Participating in tasks related to networking, storage (file/block/object), databases, and monitoring and logging systems
• Supporting deployment processes in on-premise and cloud environments (GCP as main platform)
