Windows Engineer

• 6 years of professional IT experience, including at least 3 years as a Windows Engineer
• Solid experience administering Windows Server 2016 or newer in virtualized environments
• Experience managing complex IT systems and distributed environments
• Good knowledge of network protocols: SMTP, NTP, DNS, LDAP, DHCP
• Practical experience in networking, security, and Microsoft Windows Server system services
• Ability to write scripts in PowerShell or other scripting languages
• Experience with ticketing systems and ITIL processes such as change management, configuration management, and release management
• Familiarity with virtual machine provisioning in VMware or Nutanix environments and DevOps in Azure
• English language proficiency at least B2 level, certified
• Strong analytical skills, proactive attitude, and teamwork ability

• Participation in a high-security project for a public institution
• Administration and monitoring of Windows Server operating systems and services in a virtualized environment
• Monitoring and analyzing alerts
• Managing backups and system recovery operations
• Installing, updating, and configuring system components and server software
• Creating scripts and configurations for Windows Server environments
• Participating in architecture design and reviews
• Advising on capacity management, disaster recovery planning, IT service continuity, task automation, and security
• Providing recommendations and implementing best system practices and security standards
• Defining, analyzing, and resolving software and hardware issues
• Creating and updating technical documentation and operational procedures
• Implementing changes according to ICT change management procedures
• Providing second-line support and coordinating with third-line support teams
• Participating in coordination and project meetings
• Performing other tasks assigned by the supervisor
• Working in a hybrid model: 70% onsite at the client office in Warsaw, 30% remote
