Senior Java Backend Engineer

• At least 5 years of professional work in software engineering roles
• Experience in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, REST API, Microservices, Terraform, SQL and no-SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Elastic), Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Azure Service Bus
• Experience with cloud architecture, preferably Azure
• Experience with Agile development environment and methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; degree in mathematics or similar is nice to have
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to take responsibility
• Independence and proactive approach to process automation and optimization
• Ability to communicate results understandably to business stakeholders

• Build scalable data driven systems using Java and related technologies
• Combine backend development skills with deep knowledge of data management
• Deliver robust, production-ready solutions in dynamic environments
• Collaborate closely with business departments to achieve the best customer experience
• Work in interdisciplinary teams on the development of new functionalities and improvements of existing features
• Participate in brainstorming and software design decisions
• Provide feedback and share knowledge with the team and other developers
• Work in a highly motivated self-organized Scrum team
