Maconomy ERP Specialist

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Maconomy with strong understanding of its data model.
• Strong expertise in project-based ERP, financial modules, and banking processes within a complex, multi-country organization.
• Ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and propose sustainable solutions.
• Strong communication skills in English to effectively engage with both finance and IT stakeholders.

Nice to have:

• Experience with statutory reporting, local GAAP/IFRS.
• Experience with Maconomy upgrades and migrations.

System Ownership:

• Act as the subject matter expert for Maconomy, driving continuous improvement, system upgrades, and major implementations.

Financial and Audit Support:

• Support project accounting, billing, revenue recognition, period-end close, and external audit preparations.

Compliance and Reporting:

• Ensure the system supports statutory financial reporting (including local GAAP/IFRS) across multiple European entities.

Banking and Integrations:

• Oversee banking processes, payment formats, and troubleshoot integrations (Expense, Banking, Payments).

Data Management:

• Manage master data, system controls, and user access.

Collaboration:

• Act as a bridge between Finance, Project Management, IT, and external partners.
