Business Expert/Technical Business Analyst - Payment Transactions (SWIFT)

CommerzBank is seeking a Business Expert/Technical Analyst to join their team focused on cross-border payments. The role involves digitalizing and optimizing payment processing workflows, ensuring seamless communication between internal applications and SWIFT services, and working in an agile product development environment.

• Understanding of process chains and formats used (MT and MX)
• Knowledge of the SWIFT network and services (e.g., FIN, FileAct, InterAct)
• Familiarity with message flows, routing, and payment lifecycle processing
• Ability to analyze and understand system landscapes and interfaces between internal systems and SWIFT infrastructure
• Experience with message transformation, data mapping, and integration concepts
• Understanding of APIs, middleware, and messaging technologies
• Ability to gather and document business requirements
• Experience in designing and developing functional solutions or IT concepts
• Ability to translate business requirements into specifications and test scenarios
• Proficiency in both German and English

• Analyze issues and requirements between internal backoffice systems and the SWIFT infrastructure
• Analyze business and technical requirements (as-is / to-be) and define functional and technical solutions including message flows, interface specifications, and integration concepts for SWIFT connectivity
• Define functional test scenarios and quality assurance measures; support test activities on test environments
• Analyze and design solutions collaboratively with involved teams
• Act as an expert within the scrum team for functional and business analysis aspects of the payment investigation application
