Electrical Hardware Architect

On behalf of our client a global company delivering advanced solutions for the automotive sector, this role involves managing customer hardware requirements and translating them into detailed product specifications, system architecture, and validation activities for power electronics solutions used in electric and hybrid vehicles.

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in automotive electronics or e-mobility hardware
• Strong understanding of embedded hardware systems
• Experience with structured problem-solving approaches
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluency in English

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of AIAG/VDA FMEA
• Knowledge of ISO 26262

• Evaluate and interpret stakeholder requirements, collaborating closely with both customers and internal teams
• Break down high-level requirements into system architecture elements, interfaces, and tasks for hardware, mechanical, validation, and manufacturing teams
• Create and maintain product definition documentation, including change management activities
• Define requirements for embedded test software
• Develop functional test strategies, including test setups and bench configurations
• Execute hardware functional testing and support validation activities (environmental and EMC)
• Provide technical guidance to manufacturing teams during production changes
• Support customer validation and testing programs
• Contribute to root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives
