Mathematics & Python Expert - Freelance AI Trainer

• Degree in Mathematics (Pure or Applied) or related field.
• 2+ years of research, applied, or teaching experience.
• Proficiency in Python for writing reference solutions.
• Fluency with or strong willingness to learn at least one scriptable mathematical package such as Z3, cvc5, Macaulay2, Singular, CasADi, IPOPT, SDPB, G6K, fpylll, or SageMath.
• Ability to design problems that genuinely require a specialized solver.
• Strong written English skills (C1+).
• Willingness to self-learn if no prior experience with listed tools.

• Design mathematics problems that challenge a frontier AI model requiring specialized tools like Z3, cvc5, SageMath, Macaulay2, or others.
• Write Python reference solutions and supply input files where needed.
• Decide the numerical answer and define the accuracy required for the model's answer.
• Test problems against the model in batches, tuning difficulty to achieve a pass rate of 10-30%.
• Collaborate with senior reviewers for feedback to ensure task quality.
• Calibrate problems by rewriting and adjusting based on model performance and behavior.
