Windows Engineer

Devire IT Outsourcing is a form of cooperation dedicated to IT specialists, based on own business principles, executing positions for clients conducting innovative and modern projects. For our client - an IT company - we are looking for a Windows Engineer.

• Experience administering systems based on Windows Server 2016 or newer in a virtualized environment
• Experience administering complex IT systems and distributed environments
• Good knowledge of network protocols: SMTP, NTP, DNS, LDAP, DHCP
• Practical experience in networking, security, and system services for Microsoft Windows Server
• Good scripting skills in PowerShell or other scripting languages
• Experience with ticketing systems and ITIL-based change, configuration, and release management processes

Formal requirements:

• Personal security clearance required (valid from the first day of task realization)
• Required security clearance level: RESTREINT UE / EU RESTRICTED
• English language: B2 level (confirmed by a certificate from a certifying institution)
• Education: Bachelor's degree or at least 3 years of higher education (confirmed by diploma)
• Certificates: certificate related to Microsoft Windows Server or equivalent

• Administering and monitoring Windows Server operating systems and services in a virtualized environment
• Monitoring and analyzing alerts
• Handling backups and system recovery processes
• Installing, updating, and configuring system components and server software
• Creating scripts and configurations for Windows Server environments
• Participating in architecture design and reviews
• Advising on capacity management, disaster recovery planning, IT service continuity management, automation of repetitive tasks, and security
• Providing recommendations and implementing best system practices and security standards
• Defining, analyzing, and resolving hardware and software issues
• Creating and updating technical documentation and operational procedures
• Implementing changes according to ICT change management procedures
• Providing second-line support for other IT teams and coordinating with third-line support
• Participating in coordination and project meetings
• Performing other duties consistent with the job profile as assigned by the supervisor

• Personal security clearance required (minimum RESTREINT UE / EU RESTRICTED)
• English language proficiency at B2 level with certification
• Education requirement: Bachelor's degree or minimum 3 years of higher education with diploma
