IT Administrator

The IT Administrator is part of the Diplomatic Technology (DT) Customer Engagement team at the U.S. Embassy in Warsaw, responsible for administering IT systems to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

• Option 1: Minimum of 2 years of experience in computer networking operations, network management, or computer systems
• Option 2: Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
• Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Library and Data Science/Analytics, or Audio/Visual Communications and Technology
• Option 2: Secondary school diploma
• English: Level 3 (Good working knowledge – speaking, reading, and writing)
• Polish: Level 4 (Fluent – speaking, reading, and writing, including the ability to translate)

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support
• Conduct system analysis
• Manage configurations and operating systems with post-wide impact
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues
• Support network security
• Perform system audits
• Educate users on information security best practices
• Participate in DT initiatives
• Perform other assigned duties to ensure comprehensive IT support
