Software Engineer 2 (Java / Kotlin)

Allegro is a technology company with a large-scale platform featuring over 1000 microservices, an open-source data bus (Hermes) handling 300K+ requests per second, a Service Mesh with 1M+ requests per second, tens of petabytes of data, and production-used machine learning. The team is cross-competent and full-stack oriented, bridging backend microservices and modern web technologies, working closely with various product teams.

• Strong background in Kotlin and backend architectures.
• Experience with backend solutions using Spring.
• Willingness to work as a full-stack developer and learn TypeScript, JavaScript, and React.
• Ability to design effective solutions for complex business and technical challenges.
• English language proficiency at B2+ level.

• Develop backend solutions using Kotlin and Spring framework.
• Expand skills into full-stack development including TypeScript, JavaScript, and React.
• Build tools that accelerate the work of hundreds of engineers.
• Design dynamic API contracts and handle complex JSON-based component tree structures.
• Participate in code reviews, share knowledge, and accept feedback.
