Junior Backend Developer

MeWe is a social network focused on privacy and authentic community engagement. The company is building its own blockchain infrastructure called Soshi, based on Avalanche L1, aimed at reputation-based, community-centric digital infrastructure.

• Basic commercial, internship, open-source, or personal project experience in software development.
• Experience with Scala.
• Basic understanding of blockchain/Web3 concepts.
• Familiarity with Solidity is a strong plus.
• Ability to work in a remote team and communicate in English.

• Support the development and maintenance of backend applications and services built with Scala.
• Implement new features and improve existing code under the guidance of experienced developers.
• Help analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product owners to deliver stable and scalable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and follow best practices to ensure clean, readable, and maintainable code.
• Support Web3-related initiatives; familiarity with Solidity would be a plus.
