Senior Data Engineer (with Informatica experience)

N-iX is seeking a seasoned Data Engineer to join their Data & Analytics Competence Center. The role involves core development for Snowflake DWH and Data Lake, supporting Supply Chain solutions and other business integrations. The candidate will work within a specialized team and have opportunities to branch into Big Data, Data Science, or Machine Learning.

• At least 4 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Expertise in IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services) and SQL.
• Understanding of cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of data modeling and warehousing concepts.
• Currently living in Poland.
• Effective communication skills in English.

Nice to have:

• Experience with dbt or workflow tools like Airflow.
• Background in Informatica Cloud Application Integration (CAI).
• Knowledge of Data Lakehouse architectures.
• Experience working in an Agile setup.

• Using IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services) to design and manage ETL/ELT pipelines that scale.
• Pulling data from APIs, cloud platforms, and various databases into a cohesive Snowflake environment.
• Tuning pipelines for peak performance and setting up monitoring and error-handling.
• Working closely with business and analytics teams to ensure data meets decision-making needs.
• Managing the full lifecycle across development, testing, and production environments.
• Maintaining technical documentation.

The candidate must be currently living in Poland and able to communicate effectively in English.
