• Bachelor's degree and minimum 7 years of relevant professional IT experience, including 3 years in a similar role with OpenShift applications.
• RedHat Certified OpenShift Administrator or equivalent certification.
• Experience managing projects/namespaces for applications including creation, quotas, limit ranges, and RBAC.
• Practical knowledge in configuring and troubleshooting routes, services, and ingress for applications including TLS and path-based routing.
• Experience implementing network policies and security constraints at application and namespace levels.
• Knowledge of application monitoring and logging using OpenShift tools, Prometheus, Grafana, and app-specific metrics.
• Expertise in GitOps, ArgoCD, and Helm charts for applying changes from Git to namespaces and applications.
• Strong scripting and automation skills with proficiency in Ansible, Python, and Helm charts.
• Experience deploying, configuring, and maintaining containerized applications in RedHat OpenShift.
• Expertise with YAML, Helm charts, and OpenShift templates for application deployment.
• Knowledge of OpenShift application model including projects, namespaces, service accounts, secrets, and config maps.
• Knowledge of application security settings such as Pod Security Admission, Security Context Constraints, network policies per app, image signing, and scanning.
• Experience with application scaling and optimization using Horizontal and Vertical Pod Autoscalers, resource requests/limits, and probes.
• Knowledge of application exposure methods including routes, services, ingress, ExternalName, TLS termination, and API Gateway patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD for OpenShift applications including pipelines, Jenkins, ArgoCD, and GitOps.
• Proficiency in English at minimum B2 level, proven by certification.

• Configuration, deployment, and maintenance of containerized applications on OpenShift using manifests, Helm, templates, and operators.
• Managing namespaces/projects for applications including RBAC, quotas, limit ranges, and resource management.
• Configuring application exposure and routing such as routes, services, TLS, external access, and load balancing.
• Implementing and maintaining application security including SCC, PodSecurity, network policies, and secrets rotation.
• Application scaling and optimization through resource tuning and performance troubleshooting.
• Supporting development teams with pod troubleshooting, logs, events, restarts, and rollbacks.
• Collaborating on requests for new functionalities and resources for applications.
• Monitoring application health and performance with alerts, dashboards, and capacity planning.
• Preparing and updating documentation for applications, SOPs, and application runbooks.
