DevOps Engineer — Infrastructure & Platform (Kubernetes · Terraform · Cloud)

Thalox Sphere GmbH is a Munich-based boutique software studio inside the international Thalox group. They build custom software, AI integrations, and process automation for SMEs that don't fit the off-the-rack consulting model. Their daily tools include Odoo, HubSpot, Supabase, n8n, and modern LLM stacks, while staying technology- and vendor-agnostic to pick best-fit solutions per client. Recent work includes the autohelden.com digital infrastructure built in four weeks.

• 3–5 years experience as a DevOps engineer.
• Strong experience with at least one major cloud provider (Hetzner, AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Required experience with Docker.
• Strongly preferred experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with Terraform or Pulumi for Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, specifically GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency with Git and Linux.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana.

Nice to have:

• Experience with n8n.
• Experience with GPU infrastructure.
• Experience with Redis.
• Experience with WebSocket.
• Experience with Hetzner cloud.

• Build, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar).
• Manage and evolve cloud infrastructure via Terraform / Pulumi (Hetzner / AWS / GCP / Azure).
• Operate and scale Kubernetes clusters: deployments, networking, RBAC, autoscaling.
• Set up and own monitoring, logging, and alerting (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Sentry).
• Manage secrets, IAM, and security configuration with GDPR awareness (EU data centers where feasible).
• Support the development team: debug deployment issues, optimise build times, document runbooks.
• Drive automation everywhere to eliminate manual operational toil.

Operating model is fully remote from Poland under a B2B contract.
