Technical Product Manager

As a Technical Product Manager at CKSource, you will help shape how AI becomes a real product capability across CKEditor. The role involves working closely with engineers, designers, and business stakeholders to turn AI opportunities into product decisions that are useful, scalable, and worth shipping. You will work on the backend and platform layer that powers multiple products across CKEditor, including the AI Services team and Cloud Services teams, focusing on platform-first mindset, APIs, service architecture, and reliability.

• Come from a technical background and be able to read code and hold architecture discussions.
• Be productive in the trenches within 3 months, owning day-to-day scope and delivery.
• Comfortable making hundreds of small decisions daily without waiting for permission.
• Take AI seriously and lead well in high-stakes environments.
• Understand how LLMs work, prompt engineering, model behavior, and AI product experience.
• Communicate clearly across different audiences in fluent English.
• Experience shipping products that users and developers love.
• Experience with platform or backend products serving multiple teams or product surfaces.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, model behavior, evaluations, and operational tradeoffs.
• Experience with APIs, service architecture, observability, permissions, rate limits, or other platform concerns.

• Help shape the product vision and roadmap for features.
• Drive prioritization day to day: make clear tradeoffs between user value, technical complexity, speed, and quality.
• Keep the team focused on what matters most right now.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Manage the product lifecycle from conception through release.
• Define and track product requirements, and ensure delivery of high-quality and scalable solutions.
• Coordinate with sales, marketing, and support teams to maximize product success.
