Senior Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead initiatives within the banking sector focused on Data Governance, Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, and Big Data/AI solutions.

• Minimum 6 years’ experience managing data-related projects with demonstrable involvement in one or more of the following domains: Data Governance, Business Intelligence (BI) implementations, Data Warehousing, Big Data / AI initiatives.
• Proven experience interacting with executive leadership and board-level stakeholders.
• University degree; preferred fields include Finance, Banking, Data Science or Computer Science.
• Strong expertise in project management methodologies; relevant certifications or postgraduate studies are advantageous.
• Very good command of English, both written and spoken, sufficient for documentation and meetings conducted in English.
• Knowledge of data security and related security topics is considered a plus.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, a structured and analytical mindset, and strong organisational attention to detail.
• Capacity to work independently under time pressure, coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and take ownership with high levels of commitment and accountability.
• Resilience and ability to perform effectively in a dynamic project environment.

• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks and changes in alignment with organisational project management standards.
• Oversee resources, stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Coordinate and lead multi-stream project teams, promoting effective collaboration across technical and business domains.
• Organise, moderate and drive status meetings and other key project forums to ensure clear communication and decision-making.
• Prepare and present status reports and presentations that track progress against objectives and highlight key risks and remedies.
• Supervise and maintain high-quality project documentation and deliverables; create and update project artefacts as required.
