• 6+ years building and running production infrastructure
• Deep AWS expertise across compute, messaging, storage, networking, and observability with operational experience in production
• Strong Infrastructure as Code discipline using CDK, SAM, or CloudFormation; everything versioned, no console clicks
• Distributed systems fundamentals: ordering guarantees, idempotency, at-least-once delivery, outbox patterns, partial-failure recovery
• Experience operating event-driven architectures under load and spotting failures before incidents
• Ability to read TypeScript/Node.js and understand service functionality
• Strong opinions on observability: structured logging, distributed tracing, and on-call dashboards
• Obsessed with reliability, security, visibility, and automation
• Fluent English and Polish, written and spoken

• Full responsibility for AWS infrastructure: architecture, costs, security, reliability, and compliance
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines with zero manual steps from commit to production
• Build monitoring and alerts for queue depth, processing errors, latency spikes, delivery anomalies with dashboards indicating actual problems
• Manage PostgreSQL at scale: configuration, connection pooling, migrations, performance, backup/restore
• Maintain realtime and async systems: Lambda, SQS, Redis, S3 and related services
• Implement least-privilege principle in IAM: service-to-service trust, secret management, network isolation
• Manage environments (dev/staging/prod) with infrastructure parity and clean promotion paths
• Provide cost visibility and optimize growing AWS footprint
• Utilize modern AI tools to accelerate work
• Own critical infrastructure end to end and respond to incidents
