Junior Software Developer – Shopfloor & Digital Solutions (W/M)

• Degree or comparable qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Industrial IT, Engineering, or a related field
• First hands-on experience in software development, gained through studies, projects, internships, or initial professional roles
• Strong interest in practical digital solutions in an industrial or operational environment
• Experience or curiosity in one or more of the following areas: software development (Python, JavaScript, C#, Java), low-code/no-code platforms (e.g. Microsoft Power Platform, Mendix - nice to have, not mandatory), automation, workflows, scripting, or RPA, data processing, basic analytics, or visualization
• Solid understanding of clean code, maintainability, and structured development
• Very good English skills; German is a plus
• A structured, solution-oriented mindset and strong collaboration skills

• Design and develop lightweight software applications for shopfloor and operational use cases
• Implement digitalization and automation solutions to support daily work in production, maintenance, and engineering
• Work with different development approaches (low-code, scripting, or classical programming), depending on the use case
• Integrate data sources, machines, systems, and interfaces
• Maintain and continuously improve existing solutions with a focus on stability, usability, and scalability
• Collaborate closely with end users and cross-functional teams to understand real-world requirements
• Contribute ideas to improve processes, tools, and technical concepts
