Data Engineer

ITFS is a consulting company from the Tricity area with a branch in Warsaw. It focuses primarily on IT specialist recruitment and creating project-based Software Houses for clients from Poland and Western Europe.

• Very good knowledge of Python with debugging skills (mainly Python 2.x – intensive practical work)
• Good understanding of Data Engineering concepts in the Azure environment
• Practical experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks (ADB), Python / PySpark, and SQL
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and data processing workflows in Azure
• Good command of English (B2+)
• 4 years of experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of Python, Azure, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, SQL
• Languages: Polish, English

• Jointly identifying and developing improvements for the Data Marketplace platform and user services
• Participating in designing and developing data pipelines with emphasis on stability, optimization, and data traceability
• Creating, testing, and maintaining pipelines and data processes for the Data Marketplace
• Creating and testing resilient, modular code ensuring high availability and system resilience
• Researching and implementing new methods and processes to build high-quality data products
• Collaborating across teams to ensure smooth data flow through ingestion, consumption, and activation stages
