Systems Integration & Test Engineer - Flight Simulators / Avionics / HIL

• Basic understanding of embedded / real-time systems / RTOS (VxWorks, QNX, INTEGRITY).
• Understanding of how systems and sensors work (avionics, aerodynamics, propulsion systems, etc.) at the subsystem level.
• MATLAB/Simulink knowledge.
• Knowledge of requirements management tools such as DOORS, Polarion, Jama, Helix ALM.
• Experience with simulation-specific utilities (CIGI, IOS, host-IG interfaces).
• Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) / model-in-the-loop (MIL) test benches.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of the V-model.
• ARINC 429 – serial avionics data bus protocol.
• ARINC 664 / AFDX – Ethernet-based avionics network.

• Experience in system/integration testing, testing the hardware–software interface.
• Hands on coding and test experience.
• Some legacy coding work.
• User Interface experience.
• Some client interaction requiring strong technical knowledge and great interpersonal skills.
