Automation QA Analyst

• Prior experience in QA/software development (1-2 years)
• Uses good judgment to estimate the scope, significance and consequences of any bugs
• Can work well as part of a local and international team
• Is rigorous, methodical, independent and resourceful
• Possesses exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
• Is personable, adaptable and patient
• Resilient and able to think on your feet under pressure
• Able to adapt to working in a game production pipeline and using a variety of tools

Nice to have:

• Experience with scripting (Lua / Python)
• Experience with building/compiling with Microsoft Visual Studio
• Experience with version control/configuration management (Perforce)
• Experience with Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence)
• Experience with modding
• Experience in test automation in a different engine (Unity, Unreal Engine, etc.)
• A passion for transforming written instructions/user requirements into automation test scripts
• Familiarity with the RPG genre and extensive critical play of many RPGs

• Troubleshoot test and build failures to determine the root cause
• Communicate with stakeholders and QA Lead regarding user requirements
• Report bugs and validate their root cause
• Create automated tests
• Follow priorities given by Lead QA to ensure current team-wide goals are met
• Perform gameplay QA responsibilities depending on the requirements and phase of development
• Provide first line of support for the production team regarding any technical issues
