Senior Golang Software Engineer

We are looking for a freelancer to join one of our projects for a contract of up to 10 months. The project features a strong focus on developing new solutions, real influence on the shape of the components being built and their future direction, a modern technology stack with an automation-driven approach, complex engineering challenges instead of routine maintenance tasks, and collaboration with a team focused on quality and technical growth.

• Senior knowledge of Go
• English B2 / C1
• European Union country citizenship
• Experience in Kubernetes building production-ready services
• Experience deploying applications using GitOps platform automation and management
• Experience configuring and maintaining build and deployment pipelines (preferably using GitHub Actions)
• Experience working in agile methodologies and on greenfield projects

Nice to have:

• Experienced in using AI tools in day-to-day workflow
• Experience with technologies such as OpenTelemetry throughout the SDLC
• Experience with OpenShift

• Designing and developing new back-end services within a microservices architecture
• Implementing functionality in Go
• Developing new system components running in containerized environments
• Ensuring observability of the developed solutions
• Automating software build, test, and deployment processes
• Participating in architectural decision-making at early stages of solution development
• Taking care of code quality, readability, and long-term maintainability

• European Union country citizenship required
