Head of Cloud and Container Device Protection

HSBC Technology Poland is a large multinational company operating in a highly regulated environment. The role focuses on developing and leading policies and strategies to protect devices and processes hosted in cloud ecosystems, ensuring alignment with HSBC Cloud strategies.

• Background in information systems, technology, architecture, design, and service delivery of defense-in-depth capabilities.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience understanding and meeting the needs of multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate complex and technical issues to diverse audiences clearly and authoritatively.
• Technology or engineering background with understanding of Technology Delivery Lifecycle, engineering practices, infrastructure, tooling, and architecture & design principles.
• Deep subject matter expert knowledge of containers.
• Experience working in a highly regulated, large multinational environment.
• Ability to understand the potential business impact of security decisions and align initiatives with business needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with other areas inside and outside of cyber.

• Manage relationships with key stakeholders within the relevant Cloud Service Provider Teams within HSBC.
• Review coverage and compliance across the cloud environments and escalate as required.
• Collaborate with other cloud-related security teams such as Security Operations, Incident Management, and Cloud Security to ensure coordinated decisions.
• Track and oversee completion of formal risk tickets.
• Respond to queries from audits and regulators regarding protections in place and their effectiveness.
• Analyze available data related to issues, including native logs or captured telemetry, to assist in driving issue remediations.
