AI DevOps Team Lead (Azure)

• Several years of experience in a medium to large corporate environment or software house
• Experience working with remote engineering teams with diverse backgrounds
• 5+ years in DevOps / Cloud / Platform Engineering
• 3+ years in a management role with demonstrated experience in leading and developing DevOps teams
• Strong leadership and ability to develop and guide engineers
• Strong knowledge of DevOps principles (CI/CD, automation, reliability)
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud environments
• Clear communication across technical and non-technical teams with fluent English
• Strategic mindset focused on scalability and stability
• Ownership and accountability for delivery and outcomes
• Adaptability to evolving AI and cloud technologies

• Lead and mentor the DevOps engineers, providing day-to-day guidance, removing blockers, and acting as an escalation point
• Set clear goals and expectations, including regular 1:1s, performance feedback, development plans, and ongoing coaching through mentoring and knowledge sharing
• Define and drive the DevOps strategy aligned with enterprise standards
• Oversee Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, cost efficiency, and monitoring performance, usage, and spending to address risks and inefficiencies
• Support the operationalization of AI/ML solutions and MLOps practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable reliable AI platform delivery and act as a technical advisor contributing to strategic roadmap planning
• Govern and promote Infrastructure as Code, defining and enforcing IaC standards and best practices (Terraform)
• Ensure effective CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes, including governance via code reviews and CI/CD validation
• Drive adoption of IaC and DevOps practices through training and reusable modules
