Data Analyst

• Higher education in computer science, information technology, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data management and data modeling.
• Experience creating data models from scratch (greenfield) in various domains; knowledge of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and normalization/denormalization techniques.
• Practical knowledge of modeling tools (e.g., Erwin Data Modeler, PowerDesigner, or similar).
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and cloud databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Knowledge of Azure data services (Data Lake, Data Factory, Azure SQL) is an advantage.
• Experience programming in Python, Spark, and automating with Shell/Regex scripts.
• Familiarity with data formats and file structures (Parquet, AVRO, Delta) and various database systems including graph databases (Neo4j).
• Problem-solving skills, independence, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
• Effective communication and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

• Extract and standardize financial data from various formats (PDF, HTML, XBRL, iXBRL) ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Design, implement, and optimize data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) for enterprise-level solutions.
• Create and maintain model documentation: ERD diagrams, data dictionaries, and structures for transactional, star, and flat schemas.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to democratize data models and design efficient data pipelines.
• Define and enforce data modeling standards and conduct analyses to verify model correctness and data quality.
• Design data classification and taxonomy and manage reference data.
• Program and automate analytical processes using Python, Spark, Regex, Shell, and SQL, including meta-programming and dynamic code generation.
• Manage and optimize databases (e.g., SQL Server, Neo4j, Snowflake, PostgreSQL) and work with data storage formats (Parquet, AVRO, Delta).
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and generate practical insights.
• Mentor and support junior analysts in data analysis, programming, and statistical methods.
• Work closely with product managers and analysts to translate business requirements into robust data structures and resolve data quality issues.
