QA Lead

Fumi Games is an independent Polish studio creating stylized premium indie games with a strong visual identity and engaging gameplay. They recently released the game Mouse Pi For Hire.

• Minimum 5 years experience as a QA Tester, including 3 years managing a team as QA Lead/QA Coordinator in a development environment
• At least one released Indie Premium (or higher) project with full production cycle experience (from pre-production to post-launch support) as QA Lead/QA Coordinator in a development environment
• Experience collaborating with publishers and external QA companies
• Practical knowledge of various test types (FQA, CQA, TQA, LQA) necessary for overseeing internal and external QA work
• Ability to handle time pressure and plan work anticipating future scenarios
• Good communication and conflict resolution skills
• Proactive attitude and openness to new solutions
• English proficiency at B2-C1 level for daily communication and documentation

• Manage internal QA work and coordinate testing between developers, publisher, and external QA at all production stages
• Prioritize tasks and plan/distribute work among companies (publisher and external QA firms)
• Collaborate closely with all company departments and actively participate in work planning
• Oversee the issue tracking platform and distribute reports to appropriate developers or companies (important for co-development and external porting)
• Ensure efficient bug reporting process and prioritize reports according to the current production stage (including triage meetings with production if needed)
• Develop workflows between internal and external QA teams
• Develop new and improve existing debugging tools to facilitate work across departments
